AutoDoc Terms of Service

1. Identity of the Seller
These terms apply to the use of AutoDoc, a Windows software application. The software is provided by AutoDoc Guide (KvK 42052048), Schaapsdrift 84, 6902AK Zevenaar, Netherlands. Contact: info@autodocguide.com.
2. License Grant & Restrictions
AutoDoc Guide grants you a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the software.
Seat-Based Licensing: Use of the software is restricted to the number of seats purchased. While a single license key may be distributed to multiple users within your organization to fill these seats, the total number of active devices may not exceed the purchased limit.
Unauthorized Redistribution: Selling, renting, or publicizing your license key to individuals outside of your authorized environment is strictly prohibited.
- Prohibitions: You may not (i) bypass or disable license verification mechanisms, (ii) decompile or reverse-engineer the source code, or (iii) sublicense or rent the software to third parties.
- Breach: Any violation of these restrictions constitutes a material breach and results in the immediate termination of your license without a refund.
3. Payments & Renewals
Paid tiers (AutoDoc Pro) are sold via Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period (e.g., monthly) unless you cancel via the Lemon Squeezy subscriber portal before the renewal date.
- Digital Content: As the software is digital content delivered immediately, and you provide express consent to start the service, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (herroepingsrecht) typically does not apply once the download or activation has begun. All sales are final.
4. Service Availability & Online Verification
While designed for offline use, the software requires periodic online verification to validate Pro entitlements. Failure to connect may result in the software reverting to the free tier until re-validation occurs.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, AutoDoc Guide's total aggregate liability for all claims arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be limited to the total fees paid by you to AutoDoc Guide during the twelve (12) months preceding the first event giving rise to such liability. In no event shall such liability exceed the actual amount paid for the software. AutoDoc Guide is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profit. The software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Gelderland, Netherlands.
