2. Data Categories & Legal Basis

We process personal data based on the following GDPR legal bases:

• Performance of a Contract: Fulfilling your purchase and managing your subscription (processed via Lemon Squeezy).
• Legitimate Interest: Authenticating licenses via your hardware ID (HWID) and hostname to prevent fraud and manage device limits.
• Legal Obligation: Maintaining transaction records for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law (fiscale bewaarplicht).
• Consent: For optional newsletters or marketing lists you choose to join.

3. Third-Party Processors

We utilize Lemon Squeezy for payment processing and Mijndomein for web hosting. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record and may process data outside the EEA; such transfers are secured by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure GDPR compliance.

4. Data Retention

We retain billing and transaction data for 7 years. Technical logs used for license verification are retained only as long as your license is active and are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe after cancellation.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability.
